Low Outgassing Cable(LO)

In the manufacturing equipment for semiconductors, flat panel displays (FPD), and other measurement devices, as well as in space equipment, it has been observed that where outgassing from resin materials in environments ranging from atmospheric pressure to partial vacuum can cause lens fogging and degrade the performance of the equipment. At Junkosha we utilize a fluoropolymer with special processing on the outermost layer sheath, resulting in a significant improvement in low outgassing, flexibility, low friction, and durability. The result is a low outgassing cable that can be used in atmospheric pressure environments as well as medium-vacuum environments.
Junkosha cables can be customized for conductor count and shielding to match the usage environment and expected lifespan. Additionally, depending on the application, we can provide suggestions for both round and flat cable types.

Comparison of Outgassing Emissions

Outgassing characteristic
Heat a sample in an inert gas flow. Then, trap, collect, and concentrate the gas generated from the sample into an absorbent.
Measure the gas using GC-MS (Gas-chromatography mass spectrometer system).
Cable flexibility
Approx. 300mm diameter ring was made by banding both ends of 1000mm length cable.
Apply a load of 910g at lower end of the circle. The pole diameter and equator diameter were measured after 5 seconds. The oblateness is a/b.
Abrasion resistance
Measure the kinetic friction of coefficient of sample by pressing and rotating sample (plate form) on to pipe-shaped counterpart material.
